Join us for light refreshments at a reception for Dr. Mica Pollock, Professor of Education Studies at the University of CA, San Diego and author of School Talk: Rethinking What We Say About--and To--Students Everyday. She will be speaking about her research on the impact of opportunity removal in our schools and where we should go next in our advocacy for MO public schools. Although we have several new education advocates in government positions, we still have much more work to do to build the schools our children deserve!
