#LetThemSpeak

We have begun a new project to center the voices of students in our fight for equity!

Your story is your most powerful tool. We are asking for students to submit their stories about the importance of equity in education. We are asking for entries from everyone because equity is about servicing EVERYBODY.

We would like submissions by February 25th, but if we receive an overflow, we could potentially extend the deadline. These submissions can range from 1 to 2 pages, but if the author is moved to go further, please limit the number of pages to a maximum of 5. After receiving the submissions, we will choose which stories will be used for our publication, and during that time, we will contact the student author, and discuss how that author would like their story presented. For example, some students might feel safe changing their names. WE WILL RESPECT YOUR BOUNDARIES BECAUSE WE WANT YOU TO FEEL SAFE SHARING YOUR EXPERIENCES. IT IS UP TO THE AUTHOR AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Please contact collectingstoriesforunity@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.
